How it all started

It all started from the street. In the busy city of Mumbai, Vijay Karande, lived a life that seemed ordinary to most. His daily routine was much like anyone else’s in the city, until one day, it wasn’t.

The sight shook him deeply, leaving an impression on his heart.
Coming back home that day, he couldn’t help but notice the difference in how he cared for his dog, Fluffy, and how the old woman had been left to fend for herself. This contrast sparked a decision within him – he decided he needed to do something to help people like her.
With a pragmatic approach, he started shelter homes in Malad and Karjat. These weren’t just homes providing shelter and food. They were designed to offer medical aid, companionship, and a sense of dignity to the elderly.

Vijay’s actions served as a gentle reminder that change often begins with small, determined steps. His story began with witnessing the plight of a beggar on the road and culminated in creating a safe haven for many elderly citizens, ensuring they received the care and love they deserved. He proved that it didn’t take grand gestures to make a difference. Sometimes, all it took was a shift in perspective and a determination to act.
